ALLMATIC Standardized Tombstones to Propel Automation

Unterthingau, Germany – ALLMATIC-Jakob Spannsysteme GmbH, a clamping device specialist, offers a standardized Tombstone portfolio that is available within three to four weeks for customers to use in their production facilities. The new modular product range for horizontal machining centres with a total of 57 available combinations, takes three steps via the online navigator to put together an ideal tombstone in just a few minutes. The 3D data and technical information ensure that the tombstone blends in with the workpieces and machining centres. Thanks to its zero-point clamping system, all variants of the tombstones already meet future requirements.

In addition, ALLMATIC not only reduces delivery times, but is the only supplier that adds value when customers visit the website, due to the innovative online configurator. The company had provided nine different spindles and various jaw variations at the launch of the configurator. Using GRIPP technology, raw blanks can thus be machined, as can rough-machined workpieces with different clamping widths. Up to 2 workpieces can be clamped on either side; the number and positioning of the clamping sides are determined by each individual client. The online configurator aids during the selection process, but it cannot be compared to an online store.

ALLMATIC developers understand the supplier has available pre-machined workpieces that only have to be adjusted to meet individual final requirements. As a result, a company based in the Allgäu region of Southern Germany is less dependent on its own suppliers and can also offer shorter delivery times for the final product in this segment.

“We wish to reduce the internal processing time, but first and foremost the delivery times for our customers. Being in touch with our customers personally remains high priority for us,” explained Bernhard Rösch, CEO, ALLMATIC. “We took our time to think this through and to develop a modular system with which we can beautifully cover most of the specifications.”
