FANUC's High-end CNC Minimize Downtime with Ease-of-use

Oshino, Japan – FANUC CORPORATION presents ‘FANUC Series 30i/31i/32i-MODEL B Plus’ a new high-end CNC with extremely polished machining performance and added features for minimizing downtime. A successor to ‘Series 30i/31i/32i-MODEL B’, it is released with renewed design, improved basic functions, latest control technology, and ease-of-use. It is equipped with customizable functions (to flexibly create screens suitable for machine tools), multi-function Ethernet (for easily connecting peripheral devices), CNC-QSSR ( to operate robot easily from CNC), and, the high speed CPU accomplishes the further cycle time reduction and high quality machining in Series 30i/31i-B Plus.

‘FANUC Series 31i-MODEL B Plus’ is the core model of FANUC CNC with abundant functions and high-speed, highly accurate and high-quality machining technology, it is most suitable for a high-grade and machining center. Its characteristics include, 6 paths (Max. number of paths), 34 axes: 26 feed axes + 8 spindles (Max. total number of control axes), and 4 axes (Max. number of simultaneous control axes). In addition to the features of 31i-B Plus, ‘FANUC Series 31i-MODEL B5 Plus’, has simultaneous 5-axis machining function and can machine the work of complex shape at high-speed, highly-accurate and high-quality, making it well suited for the leading-edge 5-axis machining center.

‘FANUC Series 32i-MODEL B Plus’ is a standard model with sufficient CNC functions and is suitable for the control of a standard lathe and a machining center. It has 2 paths (Max. number of paths), 20 axes: 12 feed axes + 8 spindles (Max. total number of control axes), and 4 axes (Max. number of simultaneous control axes). ‘FANUC Series 30i-MODEL B Plus’, is a multi-axis and multi-path CNC model. Its 5-axis machining function allows complex shapes machining and has the flexibility to control various types of machine tools as well. The features include, 10-15 paths (Max. number of paths), 24 axes (Max. number of simultaneous controlled axes), and 96 axes (72 feed axes, 24 spindles) / 10 path & 72 axes (56 feed axes, 16 spindles) / 15 path control axes.
