ANCA Appoints Key European Leadership to Strengthen its Team

ANCA, a market leading manufacturer of CNC grinding machines, announced key appointments with Edmund Boland as the new General Manager Europe, Martin Winterstein to take the position of Sales Manager Europe, and Jan Langfelder as the Global Key Accounts Manager. The new appointments aim to strengthen its leadership team and commitment to service the region as well as mark an ever-expanding local footprint.

The company has a purpose-built technology centre in Weinheim, Germany, as well as a UK facility and local sales and technical support in most European countries. Around 70 strong European teams provide a premium customer experience with expertise covering sales, customer training, application support, service, operations, engineering, finance, and administration. Customers from all over Europe can visit the state-of-the-art machine demonstration area to experience the company’s latest products and see first-hand technology in action.

Edmund Boland has been with the company for 15 years across several roles. He brings a diverse set of expertise having worked in ANCA’s finance, operational and application teams. He most recently led the Global Supply Chain, taking ANCA through the COVID pandemic successfully.

Martin Winterstein has led global, multi-national teams in a variety of successful machining businesses. He most recently worked as the Chief Sales Officer, Managing Director, Gehring Technologies GmbH, Ostfildern. He was previously the Director Global Market Sales and Market Service, Liebherr Verzahntechnik GmbH, Kempten. He has also held positions at MAG Europe GmbH, ThyssenKrupp MetalCutting, and Hüller Hille GmbH in Ludwigsburg.

On the new role and having led global operations from ANCA’s headquarters in Melbourne, Boland said, “I am very excited to join the team in such an important market. ANCA is in my blood and years of experience in our Australian headquarters has built a deep understanding of the business to help me further develop the European team’s capabilities to better listen to and service our customers.” He further added, “Much of ANCA Europe’s success has been due to the deep market knowledge, technical acumen, strong customer relationships and leadership of Jan Langfelder. Taking on the new role of Global Key Accounts Manager is another exciting development for ANCA with Jan focusing on strengthening our customer relationships in a critical time.”
