EMO Hannover 2023 Highlights Current Production Technologies

Want to learn about the latest in production technology? Production experts visiting EMO Hannover 2023 will be doing just this in September.

Aerospace Manufacturers Use Tools, Geometries, and Materials to Machine HRSAs

Sébastien Jaeger, Industry Solution Manager – Aerospace, Sandvik Coromant, explains why a better machining strategy, including the machine, tools, geometries, and tool materials, is required as tighter emissions regulations require aero engines to burn hotter and be made of heat-resistant super alloys (HRSAs), which are difficult to machine efficiently and cost-effectively.

Digital Factories are Learning to Listen

Why are smart microphones being used in factories? Are companies planning to eavesdrop on their workforce?

MAKING STRIDES

With the year 2023 progressing with new hopes and aspirations, India is propelling itself towards making its mark stronger than ever before.

Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star!

Recently, Skyrocket Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based Indian startup, founded by former Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) engineers, created history in the Indian space sector. Power of Persistence

India is presently reaping the fruits of her persistence in inching closer to the ‘Make in India’ mission. Our pro-growth manufacturing trade and industrial policies and global rising frangible supply chains are the raison d'être to bring more international companies to the country. Large corporations are setting up shops in India to diversify their manufacturing base and expand their export sources.

It gives me immense pleasure to present my first-ever Publisher’s Note to the readers of Modern Manufacturing India (MMI) ever since I took over the reins of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) as its Director General & Chief Executive Officer.
