BPCL’s MAK Lubricants launches MAK e-Drive

Mumbai, India – Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has released four new MAK lubricant products, intended to improve the performance, reliability, and durability of the customer’s use. VRK Gupta, Director Finance; Sanjay Khanna, Director Refineries; Meenaxi Rawat, IES, CVO; G Krishnakumar, ED Lubes; and other BPCL officials were present at the launch of the new MAK lubricant range.

Following the recent inauguration of the first EV Fast-Charging corridors in southern India on the Chennai-Trichy-Madurai Highway, BPCL’s MAK lubricants introduce MAK e-Drive, a premium-quality synthetic driveline fluid specifically created to fulfill the unique requirements of Electric Vehicles (EV’s). MAK e-Drive is formulated with a synthetic base oil and advanced additive technology that assures gear protection and compatibility with various materials used in EV powertrains.

The second lubricant, MAK e-Kool, is a long-life Anti-freeze coolant concentrate that is utilized in the indirect cooling of BEV (battery operated electric vehicle) battery packs. The product, which is free of hazardous nitrites, amines, phosphates, and borates, provides excellent corrosion prevention while also protecting the engine against overheating and frost throughout the year.

MAK Eco-Mini has also been introduced, assuming the accountability that eco-friendly products are no longer a choice but a future necessity. The eco-friendly engine oil is appropriate for mini-trucks and light commercial vehicles that run on diesel or CNG. Aside from protecting the engine from wear and tear, the oil also helps to reduce the carbon footprint and extends the life of the emission control system.

MAK also presented MAK Chain Spray Oil and MAK Multipurpose Spray. Chain spray improves motorcycle performance and is especially recommended for high-performance motorcycle chains. The multipurpose spray signifies MAK’s entry into the consumer’s household, catering to their needs by removing squeaks and easing household machines. Both of these products protect against rust and damage, as well as lubricate the moving parts to keep them running smoothly and efficiently.
