Addverb Technologies Opens Software Development Center in Pune

Pune, India – Addverb Technologies, a renowned robotics and automation firm, has expanded its presence in India by inaugurating a new Software Development Centre (SDC) at Panchshil Business Park on Balewadi High Street, Pune. This new office follows the recent opening of the world’s largest robot manufacturing facility in India, as well as US$132 million in funding from Reliance Industries. The centre will assist the company in expanding its delivery network and providing innovative robotics and automation software solutions to its clients.

The opening of the new centre is in line with the company’s vision of becoming the world’s largest manufacturer of robots, which will allow for new growth opportunities. The company will begin by housing 120 individuals and hopes to hire 180 additional individuals by the end of FY23. The company has operations in Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands, and the United States, and it directly and indirectly employs over 2,000 people in India. Greater Noida will soon be home to one of the world’s largest robotic manufacturing facilities, creating 3,000 direct and indirect job opportunities. Bot Valley, Addverb’s world-class production facility, R&D centre, and experience center, employs over 800 people.

Following a successful FY21-22 in the US with yearly sales of US$40 million, the company intends to further enhance its position in the country. Pune is a well-established technological centre with highly skilled software professionals, and the company will be able to draw from this talent pool from engineering and management institutes across West India with a stronger presence in Pune through this office. The SDC will be instrumental in developing digital platforms that will power robotic and automation solutions for worldwide clients. Teams from software development, IT support, IT infrastructure, automation, marketing, and business development will work together in the new center. The company’s new office, combined with their vision and growth, will create new job opportunities for local talent while also stemming economic growth in the region.

Addverb delivers warehouse automation solutions to a variety of customers in industries such as FMCG, Grocery, Apparel, Petrochemicals, Pharma, and Automotive. Unilever, Reliance, Flipkart, Amazon, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Marico, Dabur, ITC, and Patanjali are just a few examples.
