LAMIERA 2023: Laser, Plasma, and Thermal Cutting Technologies for Sheet Metal Take the Spotlight with Over 40 Exhibitors

Milan, Italy – LAMIERA, the international trade show centered on sheet metal forming and sheet metal cutting machines and related technologies, is scheduled to take place at fieramilano Rho from May 10-13, 2023. In the exhibition halls, the proposals of technologies dedicated to sheet metal cutting will be particularly interesting. The world of laser technology has always played a starring role in the trade event promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE and organized by CEU-CENTRO ESPOSIZIONI UCIMU. It will be represented by over 40 enterprises as an expression of the best international production.

Besides laser, plasma, and thermal cutting technologies for sheet metal, bars, sections, and tubes, the trade show will propose a comprehensive offering of sources, consumables, and machines, thus offering the visiting operators a complete and exhaustive overview of the laser segment, whose applications are becoming increasingly widespread.

Adh Italia, Alpemac, Amada Italia, Baykal Makina, Blm Group, Bodor, Comaf, Cutlite Penta, Cy-Laser, Dne Global, Eagle, Ermaksan, Ficep, Gweike Tech, Hpm High Performance Machinery, Hsg Laser, Hymson Italy, Kjellberg , Lag Machinery, Laserbergtech, Laser Plasma Systems, Laser Veronese, Laserisse, Le Macchine di Luca, L-Peak, Lvd, Mazak, Messer Cutting Systems, Mitsubishi Electric, Muratec, Optoprim, Prima Industrie, Prima Power, Salvagnini, Sei, Soitaab Impianti, Tecoi, Thermacut, Vd Industrial Equipments, Warcom, Zinetti Technologies/Schiavi Macchine International are the companies that have already sent their applications to exhibit at LAMIERA. Once again, the exhibition stands out thanks to its complete presentation of this production segment.

After all, the exclusivity of LAMIERA, the only trade show in Italy specifically focused on the sector, and the primary role played by the Italian industry of metal forming technologies worldwide—at the top positions in the rankings of production, exports, and consumption—contribute to increasing the appeal of this event for the operators of the international manufacturing industry, edition after edition.

To complete the product offering on show, as usual, the trade show will propose LAMIALAMIERA, the arena set up in Hall 13, which will host in-depth cultural and themed meetings, conferences, and conventions. Among the discussed topics, special attention will be given to laser, plasma, and thermal cutting and to the multiple, varied applications that will also be illustrated by exhibitors.

In light of this, Alfredo Mariotti, General Manager, UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, commented, “In this edition, which will take place one year after the previous one, in order to return to the traditional positioning in the calendar of trade fairs, i.e., in the odd years, there are numerous companies that have never exhibited before. Among these, there are also Turkish and Chinese exhibitors, which proves that the metal forming sector is in full swing and that Italy is an interesting market for the operators of the sector coming from all over the world.”
