The drill tap machining center DTC-400 XL is designed specifically for high-speed drill tap applications along with full milling capabilities. It is compact, powerful, and loaded with BT-30/BBT-30 spindles. The machine is built with optimally designed structure to take care of cutting forces, cushioning high speed and accurate tapping. The DTC-400 XL is engineered for cost effectiveness yet retains the rigidity of the structure. The machine is equipped with roller type LM guideways for delivering better rigidity and superior performance. It has high rapid traverses of 60/60/48 m/min on the 3 linear axes, respectively.

The quick return function enables accurate tapping and reduction in cycle time. The DTC-400 XL is equipped with High speed Pocket tilting type Automatic Tool Changers with 16 tool capacity with chip to chip time of 1.7 sec and is designed based on the machine size and suitable application. With a rigid structure and high speeds one can achieve high accuracy and productivity on these drill tap machining centers.

The machine caters to a wide variety of applications in different segments, including Automotive, Electronics, Medical, and General Engineering.
