Horizontal Turning Centers - Apollo with Delta CNC Controls

Ace Designers is India’s largest CNC Lathe manufacturer with an installed base exceeding 60,000 machines globally. The company has introduced Apollo with Delta Controls.

Components with a maximum turning diameter of f176 and a maximum length of 224 mm can be machined. The machine has a rigid Slant Bed construction which ensures easy chip disposal. Cartridge type high-speed spindle with Flat Nose spindle accommodating f135 mm Chuck and capable of delivering 3.7 kW/5.5 kW power along with precision LM Guideways on both X and Z axes with rapids of 15 m/min are part of the standard scope. The machine has a bi-directional electro-mechanical Tool Turret with 8 stations and Tailstock with hydraulic quill actuation.

This two-axe horizontal turning center comes with an all-new Delta CNC Control – NC200. It is available with an 8.0 in. screen, supporting Turn Mill function and single spindle and single turret applications. It has a Simplified Electrical interface, Part programming on familiar lines, availability of Graphical cycles and maintenance parameters description, and Absolute motors with 12,80,000 PPR encoders.

The new Apollo with Delta Control is a game changer for customers who are cost conscious and into manufacturing small parts and need a compact footprint with a cell layout.
