Fair Friend Group Strengthens Leadership with Bernd Hilgarth as MAG IAS CSO

Eislingen, Germany – The Fair Friend Group (FFG), a global turnkey supplier, has appointed Bernd Hilgarth as Managing Director and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of MAG IAS GmbH (MAG IAS)—a subsidiary of FFG, effective August 1, 2025. In this role, he will assume overall responsibility for the sales organization of MAG IAS and the Fair Friend Group and will report directly to the Group’s CEO, Dr Sebastian Schöning.

With this personnel decision, FFG is further demonstrating its consistent development of its global sales strategy as part of its ongoing realignment. Hilgarth has more than three decades of experience in the machine tool industry. He began his career at Boehringer Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, followed by various management positions in renowned companies in the industry. Most recently, he held a leading sales position at the CHIRON Group for over ten years.
