The BB Series AC servo press brake delivers high productivity and precision through advanced AC servo motor technology. Its RAM shaft drive enables high-speed operation of up to 100 mm/sec while maintaining stable repeat-stop accuracy, achieved by adopting a ball screw drive mechanism. This drive mechanism is superior in environmental performance, as it is oil less and low noise due to a reduction gear. The Videre (Operator Support System), developed by Murata Machinery, significantly enhances usability by presenting information that is easy to see, understand, and apply directly in front of the operator. From setup through processing, Videre displays support information in real size, real time, and at the actual working location. The BB6020 is equipped with a large 22-inch operation panel that ensures clear visibility and ease of use. An ultra-short focus projector provides sharp and precise visual guidance, while a 2D sensor transforms the upper beam into a touch screen. Basic display information is automatically generated and directly linked to the bending program. In addition, the machine features a high-speed, high-precision back gauge with an effective stroke of 500 mm, supporting a wide range of bending applications.
A key highlight of the system is Videre which gives complete projection on Ram in front of operator in 2D and 3D. The system displays part drawings and guides the operator through each step of the bending process, including back gauge location and upward or downward bending. This guidance allows even less-skilled operators to quickly learn and operate the machine efficiently, while minimizing errors and reducing rejections.
