New Delhi, India – HHV Advanced Technologies Pvt Ltd, a global leader in thin film technology, has been recognized among the Top 50 MSMEs in the engineering and manufacturing sector at the second edition of the CII Award for Excellence in Women in STEM, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The recognition acknowledges organizations that have demonstrated measurable progress in enabling women’s participation and leadership across science, technology, engineering, and manufacturing functions.
The company was evaluated alongside large global and Indian manufacturing players, including GE, TVS, and Collins Aerospace. The award was received by Smriti Sakhamuri, Executive Director, HHV Advanced Technologies, who has overseen initiatives focused on expanding women’s representation across technical, manufacturing, and leadership roles within the organization. HHV’s approach integrates skill development, operational exposure, and leadership pathways within its engineering and manufacturing teams.
Commenting on the recognition, Sakhamuri said, “For manufacturing organizations, inclusion is closely linked to long-term capability building. Creating access to learning and leadership opportunities strengthens both people and performance.”
The award ceremony also featured a keynote address by Dr (Smt) Chandrika Kaushik, Distinguished Scientist and Director General (Production Coordination & Services Interaction), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), who highlighted diversity as a strategic imperative for organizations in complex technology environments.
