PUBLISHER’S NOTE

Dear Readers,

IMTEX FORMING 2026 was a defining moment for the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA). The exhibition, significantly larger than its previous edition, generated palpable excitement as visitors engaged with the latest technologies and trends in metal forming. The focused interactions and valuable knowledge exchanges reflected the curiosity and confidence in Indian-engineered goods across every aisle.

While we celebrate the remarkable success of IMTEX FORMING 2026, the Indian machine tool industry, which has a significant presence of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), stands to benefit from the measures announced in the recent budget.

This will also enhance the machine tool industry’s capability to excel in all aspects of manufacturing, supported by better access to funds and the availability of skilled human resources.

The measures announced in the recent budget will also enhance the machine tool industry’s capability to excel in all aspects of manufacturing, supported by better access to funds and the availability of skilled human resources.

Modern Manufacturing India (MMI) aims to bring together ideas, insights, and perspectives that inspire dialogue and encourage business entities to push boundaries.

This edition of MMI focuses on die and mold manufacturing. IMTMA has authored an article on technology and innovation in manufacturing. As we look to the future, our shared commitment to excellence, capability building, and continuous transformation will propel manufacturing to new heights.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the contributors, partners, and readers of MMI for being part of this journey. Readers are encouraged to share their feedback and suggestions to further enhance the magazine.
