IN-SPACe Leads Indian Space-Tech Delegation to Italy; Startups Sign Strategic MoUs

Venice, Italy and Bengaluru, India – Underscoring India’s push to expand the global footprint of its private space ecosystem, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) successfully led a delegation of nine private Indian space-tech companies to the prestigious Space Meetings Veneto 2026 held in Venice, Italy.Venice, Italy and Bengaluru, India – Underscoring India’s push to expand the global footprint of its private space ecosystem, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) successfully led a delegation of nine private Indian space-tech companies to the prestigious Space Meetings Veneto 2026 held in Venice, Italy.

The high-profile delegation, headed by Dr PK Jain, Director, Program Management and Authorization Directorate (PMAD), IN-SPACe, engaged in strategic discussions with the Italian Space Industry Study Group. The engagements aimed to explore deeper commercial and technological cooperation under the 2025–2029 India–Italy Joint Strategic Action Plan.

The visit resulted in key partnerships and MoUs between Indian startups and European aerospace leaders:

  • Astrobase Space Technologies partnered with Impulso Space for launch services.
  • Kepler Aerospace Ltd signed a framework agreement with Apogeo Space to scale global Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) and collaborate on CubeSat technologies.
  • VyomIC announced a partnership focused on next-generation navigation systems and infrastructure.


The delegation, including firms like Astrogate Labs and Dhruva Space, reflects the rapid expansion of India’s private space sector.
