Hical Technologies Strengthens India-Germany Aerospace Partnership

Bengaluru, India – Hical Technologies Pvt Ltd, a Bengaluru-based precision electromechanical manufacturer for global aerospace and defence platforms, welcomed Tobias Gotthardt, Hon’ble Vice Minister at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, at its Electronic City facility. The visit focused on discussions around manufacturing excellence, innovation, and opportunities for deeper engagement between industry stakeholders in India and Bavaria.

India’s aerospace and defence sector is witnessing rapid growth, with defence exports reaching a record INR 38,424 crore in FY26. As high-precision electronics become increasingly important to the industry, the visit offered Hical an opportunity to showcase its capabilities and long-term vision to senior German policymakers.

This visit follows Hical Technologies’ Managing Director Yashas Jaiveer’s participation in the India–Germany Defence Industry Roundtable in Munich in April 2026, where Hical was among a select group of Indian aerospace and defence manufacturers to engage directly with German industry and Government stakeholders. During the visit, Gotthardt toured Hical’s production facilities, design center, and research center, gaining first-hand insight into the company’s manufacturing capabilities, engineering expertise, and innovation in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Sharing his views, Gotthardt said, “It has been a privilege to visit Hical in Bengaluru and see first-hand the company’s impressive production capabilities, design strength, and research excellence. Bavaria and India share a long-standing, active partnership built on trust, innovation, and open cooperation. As space, aerospace, and defence become increasingly strategic sectors, we see significant opportunity to deepen collaboration, strengthen resilient supply chains, and build new bridges between Bavarian and Indian industry in a spirit of free and fair trade.”

Speaking on the occasion, Jaiveer stated, “Hosting the Hon’ble Vice Minister at our facility is a moment of significant pride, not just for Hical but also for India’s aerospace manufacturing community. Earlier this year, I had the privilege of participating in the India–Germany Defence Industry Roundtable in Munich alongside senior industry and Government stakeholders from both countries. Today’s visit by Gotthardt brings that dialogue to our shopfloor, where the real work happens.
