Bharat Forge Ltd (BFL) is co-developing the Vikram VT 21 project, in collaboration with the Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE), a laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Tata Advanced Systems Ltd (TASL), and supported by several MSMEs. The project constitutes development of two platforms: Advanced Armored Platform-Wheeled (AAP-Wh) and Advanced Armored Platform-Tracked (AAP-Tr).

Carmen Pinto has been elected as President of AFM Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, the Spanish association of machine tool, component, tool and accessory manufacturers, for a two-year term during the association’s annual assembly. Carmen Pinto, 52, from Burgos, holds a degree in Industrial Engineering specializing in Mechanics from the University of Valladolid, as well as an Executive MBA.

Royal Enfield Announces INR 2,200 Cr Andhra Pradesh Investment

Royal Enfield Motors Ltd, the iconic Indian motorcycle manufacturer and a subsidiary of Eicher Motors, an Indian automaker, has announced plans to invest more than INR 2,200 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. The project is the first major manufacturing expansion of the company outside Tamil Nadu, where the company is headquartered and has its manufacturing plants.

Kennametal India Posts Strong Q4 FY26 Growth with Revenue Up 39 Percent
|
Kennametal India Ltd (KIL), a subsidiary of Kennametal Inc, US, reported revenues of INR 4031 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, representing a growth of 39 percent compared to INR 2896 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. PBT for the quarter stood at INR 692 million, an increase of 111 percent over INR 328 million in Q3 FY25.

TRUMPF Laser Technology Reduces Manufacturing Costs in Hot Forming
|
TRUMPF is reducing component costs by up to 20 percent when cutting hot-formed components for safety-critical body structures, thanks to a new laser technology solution. Users benefit from fewer machine downtimes and fewer service interventions with the new solution. At the heart of the new solution is a new cutting nozzle. The new design allows the nozzle-to-sheet distance to be increased to several millimeters.
