ICAD Group Announces India Operations to Focus on Aviation/Airports and Emerging Technologies

New Delhi, India – ICAD Group, a holistic multi-disciplinary Global Technology Corporation, announced its entry into the Indian market in order to strengthen its focus on Aviation/Airports and Emerging Technologies. The Group welcomed their corporate delegates at the IGI Airport, followed by a private ceremony at Advant Navis Business Park, Sector 142, Noida, New Delhi, where a LOI was signed between Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport, and Ghassan Sayegh, CEO, ICAD Group, and Syed Feroz Mehdi, Director, International Operations, ICAD, among many other distinguished delegates.

Following the LOI signing ceremony for the Master System Integration (MSI) Consultancy Project with Noida International Airport, the Group kicked off the Indian operations with an exclusive press conference at Le Meridien, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Mehdi and Sayegh addressed the press conference as did their project partners, Wipro, who were represented by Jasvinder Singh, Head Enterprise Cluster, Wipro Limited. A large crowd attended the event, which included ICAD Indian associates, Wipro, IDDS, and Mutha Group, as well as prominent media dignitaries from print and digital sources.

Speaking on ICAD’s entry into the emerging Indian aviation market, Sayegh commented, “India is an emerging market & we at the ICAD Group will work closely with YIAPL & other airport companies/AAI to deliver signature airport projects in India through the Indian subsidiary – ICAD Airports Pvt Ltd. We are happy to announce that NOIDA International Airport would be the 45th airport project that ICAD has undertaken, globally.”

Satya Easwaran, Country Head-India, Wipro Limited, said, “This is an extremely proud moment for us. It marks Wipro’s entry as Master Systems Integration (MSI) consultant supporting ICAD to design and implement the Airport Integration Platform for NIA, which is planned to be the largest greenfield airport in Asia.” To this, Singh added, “We are delighted to partner with ICAD in their first engagement in India. We support multiple Public Private Partnership (PPP) airports in India and globally. We look forward to extending our digital and aviation capabilities to define the growth of NIA.”
