In recognition of his visionary pursuit of entrepreneurial excellence and his unique leadership style, IMTMA takes great pleasure in conferring upon Rajendra Rajamane the IMTMA - Premier Outstanding Entrepreneur Award in memory of Vinod Doshi.

An astute and multifaceted technocrat, passionate cyclist, keen learner, and an unwavering visionary entrepreneur is how Rajendra Rajamane, fondly called as Rajendra, can be best described.

Born in Ghataprabha, Belgaum, Rajendra did his engineering from R V College, Bangalore in 1990 and went on to obtain his MS from New York University in 1996. He joined the family business as Managing Director of Rajamane Industries the same year. The seed of entrepreneurship was sown in him in his early childhood which turned him into a strong driving force to take Rajamane Industries to the next level.

Rajendra always aspired to make the brand Rajamane the largest coolant pump manufacturing company in India. Starting with three models in 1975, today, Rajamane Industries produces over 120 models with high-efficiency motors to meet the needs of a wide array of industries, including Machine Tools, manufacturing over 8000 pumps per month.

Resilience and focus are the inherent strengths of Rajendra which helped him to expand his business network not just in India but to several countries across the world. He was quick to adapt to the changing world and created in-house designing and manufacturing facilities with new-age technologies in and around Bangalore which produce 100 percent in-house products which have been recognized and rewarded by the industry.

Rajendra believes in collaboration and co-working and devotes time to his employees and interacts with them regularly to derive the best out of them. He is associated with many industry associations and contributes his time and experience to benefit industries and society at large.

His passion for the environment is demonstrated through long cycle rides on weekends and driving an electric vehicle. Rajendra is ably supported in all his cherished endeavors by his family.
