FX 6000 SST: Stainless Steel Filtermist Unit

Filtermist Units

Filtermist and its global distributors work with many of the world’s leading component cleaning specialists including Bupi, MecWash, Hein Heso, Turbex, Cleentek, Bautermic and Anmasi. Many of these parts wash machine manufacturers include a Filtermist unit as part of their standard specification.

Stainless Steel construction

Filtermist oil mist filters are made up of stainless-steel components such as cases, drums, clips, and motor shafts that ensure continuous performance. Stainless steel Filtermist units remove the water vapor and steam at the source and successfully withstand highly corrosive environments.

Performing with high temperatures, parts washers often work at very high temperatures. A standard Filtermist unit can operate at up to 65˚ C and cope with higher temperatures when used with T pieces, airflow regulators, and extended ducting.

Centrifugal technology requires no paper filters

Centrifugal technology offers distinct advantages over traditional filtration methods, particularly in applications involving steam and water vapor. One of these advantages is the ability to operate without any need for paper filters, which can quickly deteriorate when exposed to these elements.

Air can be cleaned and recycled internally

Using a Filtermist unit enables the air to be cleaned and recycled internally, which means there is no need for costly and unsightly ducting and fans to exhaust the contaminated steam externally.
