Synergy Advanced Metals Praises India’s Self-Reliance Drive as Defence Exports Soar 12 Percent

New Delhi, India – Synergy Advanced Metals Ltd applauds the rise in India’s defence exports, which surged by 12.04 percent from the past year, reaching INR 23,622 crore in FY 2024-25, as highlighted in a PIB release dated April 1, 2025. According to the PIB press release, the Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) have shown a significant increase of 42.85 percent in their exports in the FY 2024-25, reflecting the growing acceptability of Indian products in the global market and the ability of the Indian defence industry to be a part of the global supply chain.

Subhash Chand Kathuria, Chairman, Synergy Advanced Metals Ltd, said, “We appreciate the wide-ranging exports of defence equipment, including ammunition, weapons, subsystems, and more, to nearly 80 countries, as reflected in the PIB press release. This highlights India’s evolution from a largely import-dependent military force to a self-reliant and indigenous producer.”
