IMTMA Names Mohini Kelkar 1st Woman President

Bengaluru, India – The 79th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) was held on September 10, 2025, at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru.

A new milestone was achieved at the AGM, when Mohini Kelkar, Director - Business Development, Grind Master Machines Pvt Ltd, was elected as the first woman President of IMTMA for the year 2025 - 2026. Her election marks a historic moment, heralding a new era of inclusive leadership in the machine tool industry of India. Vikram Salunke, Managing Director, Accurate Gauging & Instruments Pvt Ltd, was elected as Vice President of IMTMA for the year 2025 - 2026.  

The new Executive Committee of IMTMA for the year 2025 - 2026 was formed. The new presidency is an indication of IMTMA’s intent of a new spirit and new perspective. Signaling a future built on inclusivity and innovation, this move by IMTMA is expected to strengthen the association’s role as the voice of India’s manufacturing aspirations on the world stage.
