National Productivity Summit 2022 to Highlight Manufacturing Excellence

Bengaluru, India – Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is organizing the 16th edition of the National Productivity Summit from November 18-19, 2022 at Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC), Bangalore, to advocate the cause of productivity in the Indian manufacturing industry. The program highlights optimal manufacturing processes through informative keynotes, live case study presentations, and plant visits.

On November 17, 2022, the event will include six plant visits to Ashok Leyland, TVS Motor Company, SEG Automotive, Continental Automotive Components, Indo-MIM, and Tractor and Farm Equipment (TAFE), giving delegates the opportunity to witness best practices in manufacturing and productivity improvements on the shop floor.

This summit will give attendees an excellent opportunity to hear from industry professionals on many areas of boosting competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. Dr Gopichand Katragadda, Founder & CEO, Myelin Foundry, will be the Guest of Honour and will deliver the inaugural keynote presentation on ‘AI and Industrial IoT: The Last Mile’ on November 18, 2022. The Summit will also feature keynote presentations by Dr S Devarajan, Sr Vice President, TVS Motor Company Ltd, on ‘Paradigm shifts in manufacturing and supply chain in lieu of technological Developments’, and M S Shankar, President, Future Mobility (Innovation & Technology), Anand Group, on ‘Productivity - Innovating Sustainably’.

Leading manufacturing companies such as Bharat Electronics Limited, Bosch, Hero Motocorp-Alwar plant, Hero Motocorp-Haridwar plant, Hitachi Astemo, Kasturi Foundry, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Associated Plasmatron, JPF Metacast, and Mekhos Technology Services will present their case studies, which will compete for the ‘IMTMA-ACE Micromatic Productivity Championship Awards 2022’, which will award cash awards worth INR10 Lakhs to the winners. Tabrez Ahmed, General Manager, Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts Pvt Ltd, will be the Guest of Honor and will confer the Championship Awards to the winners during the awards presentation ceremony on November 19, 2022, from 1445 - 1615 hrs.

Over 400 professionals from a diverse cross section of the manufacturing industry are expected to attend the summit, including CEOs, Top management executives, Senior executives, and Practicing engineers from diverse industries such as Automotive, Auto components, Die & Mould, Consumer durables, Machine tool, Tool rooms, Aerospace, General Engg, and other discrete manufacturing industries.
