Ace Designers Opens First Manufacturing Unit Outside Karnataka in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, India – Ace Designers Ltd, the flagship company of the AceMicromatic Group recently inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, marking an exciting step in its growth journey and bolstering its manufacturing presence in western India.

Built at Panchratna Industrial Park, this facility is set to ramp up production to an impressive 4,000 machines each year over the next five years. This includes about 3,000 turning machines and 1,000 machining centers. The facility will also focus on greater localization through regional vendor development and skill creation. Initially, the plant will kick off operations with around 100 employees, but that number is expected to grow to nearly 350 over time.

TK Ramesh, Managing Director, Ace Designers Ltd, mentioned that this new facility in Gujarat will bring the company closer to important industrial hubs and customers, which will help improve response times and service support. Bill Shukla, Joint Managing Director, Ace Designers Ltd, noted that the unit has been designed as a next-generation manufacturing hub, incorporating cutting-edge processes and digital technologies.

He further added that nearly 40 percent of the company’s business comes from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and North India, making it a logical choice. The new facility is Ace Designers Limited's 7th plant in India and the first one outside Karnataka. Notably, it will be the first facility where both turning and milling machines are to be produced under one roof.

Currently having a capacity to manufacture 8,000 turning centers and 3,400 machining centers annually, the company expects annual turnover to cross INR 2,800 crore in FY26. With exports spanning Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas, the new Ahmedabad plant is expected to further enhance Ace Designers’ domestic and global reach.
