Forging Strong Bonds

India’s growing car manufacturing and production sector, supported by demographic dividend and growing infrastructure, is a highly lucrative market for the Taiwanese companies. Being the world’s 5th and the largest in the car manufacturing and production, the Indian automotive industry seeks more smart manufacturing solutions as modern machine tools and advanced manufacturing technology are playing a highly critical role in the increasingly competitive automotive industry.

This has enabled Taiwanese companies to step in to fill the gap with their vast experience and expertise in advanced metal processing and manufacturing solutions. The country continues to be the world’s 7th largest producer and 4th largest exporter of machine tools.

Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) shouldered the responsibility of acquainting key Taiwanese machine tool manufacturers with the Indian manufacturing industry through the three-city forum held at Delhi, Pune and Chennai. The forum, in the form of a roadshow, had leading Taiwanese manufacturers of precision stamping, press machines, CNC machines and grinder machines etc. demonstrate their latest metalworking technologies and share how they can create value-added smart manufacturing solutions for future manufacturing upgrade.

Specialists from Taiwan

Among the ones visiting India were Taiwanese industry stalwarts Tongtai Group, SEYI, FFG, Palmary Machinery, and G-Shank Enterprise.

G-Shank Enterprise, the largest precision stamping company in Asia having 45 years of experience and 5000 partners worldwide, showcased its one-stop solution for Die Design, Stamping and Automated Assembly to the Indian audience.

Taiwan’s top most automotive component solution provider, Tongtai Group presented to the Indian sector its strong engineering capability for providing all types of solutions from SPM to a totally automated production line with complete tool-up machines.
