Salvagnini is strengthening its presence in India with the opening of its new showroom in Pune. Conceived as a local point of reference for customers and prospects, the new space will host live technology demonstrations, technical meetings, process evaluations, training activities, and commercial support, giving Indian manufacturers the opportunity to experience Salvagnini solutions firsthand.
With the presence of over 250 Systems and over 100 Panel Benders working in India, the opening reflects the strategic importance of the Indian market for Salvagnini and reinforces the Group’s intention to work even more closely with local manufacturers and their evolving production requirements. More broadly, the new showroom is designed to provide a practical environment in which companies can engage directly with the local team, explore production needs, and evaluate technologies in relation to their specific applications.
At the center of the new showroom is the new Made in India LXi fiber laser, which uses Italian laser cutting technology. The LXi is a recent addition to Salvagnini’s laser portfolio that made its world premiere earlier this year at IMTEX 2026 in Bangalore.

Like all Salvagnini’s technologies, the LXi has been designed to bring together accessibility, compact dimensions, and high performance in a solution aimed at improving factory efficiency while maintaining quality and precision. Equipped with a 50 micron, 6-kW fiber laser source, it is available with a pallet changer system for efficient loading and unloading, making it suitable for a broad range of cutting applications. Its presence in Pune will allow customers to assess the machine directly, explore its potential in person, and discuss specific applications with the local team.
Alongside the LXi, visitors will also be able to discover selected technologies for panel bending, offering a broader overview of the company’s approach to sheet metal processing.
This wider technology offering reinforces the role of the Pune showroom not simply as an exhibition area, but as a practical space where manufacturers can evaluate different solutions and gain a clearer understanding of how these technologies can support their production strategies.
This local initiative is part of Salvagnini’s broader approach to supporting sheet metal manufacturers with flexible technologies and direct customer proximity. For more than sixty years, the Group has been designing, producing, and selling systems for sheet metal processing, including panel benders, punching machines, press brakes, fiber laser cutting machines, FMS lines, automatic store-towers, and software. Today, Salvagnini operates through 25 branches dedicated to sales and customer service worldwide, has more than 9,500 active installations in 87 countries, and relies on five plants and 2,108 people to combine global presence with local response.
