Gleason Corporation Appoints Bijal Thakkar President and COO

ROCHESTER, USA — Gleason Corporation announced the appointment of Bijal Thakkar as President and Chief Operating Officer. With this appointment, Gleason reinforces its commitment to long-term growth while remaining focused on delivering innovative solutions that help customers succeed in an increasingly dynamic global marketplace.

Thakkar brings more than 20 years of experience in senior strategic and business development positions across a broad range of manufacturing organizations. Most recently, she served as Vice President and General Manager of a major division at TE Connectivity. Earlier in her career, she held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations, and global business management.
