Andreas Maier Expands Indian Presence with New Office Inauguration in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, India — German workholding and clamping systems manufacturer Andreas Maier GmbH & Co. KG (AMF) inaugurated its new office in Bengaluru, marking a significant expansion after 15 years of operations in the Indian market.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Dr Christoph Dorsfeld, Consul General of Germany; Johannes Maier, Chief Executive Officer, ANDREAS MAIER GmbH & Co KG and Rajesh Nath, Managing Director, VDMA India.

Addressing the gathering, Maier highlighted AMF's mission to support India's growing industrial ecosystem through advanced automation, hydraulic clamping, toggle clamping, and standard component solutions. He stated, “The Indian industry is very important and growing rapidly. Whether upgrading existing manufacturing plants or supporting new setups, our standard parts and automated clamping solutions are designed to directly enhance factory productivity.”

TV Mohan, Country Head & Managing Director of ANDREAS MAIER Workholding Technology Pvt Ltd, emphasized the company's decade-and-a-half journey of trust and investment in the country. “India is among the fastest-growing industrial regions globally, backed by skilled talent, technological adaptability, and strong domestic demand," said Mohan. "As sectors like aerospace, electric vehicles (EV), and defence technologies expand alongside traditional plants needing modernization, AMF is equipped to build custom automation ecosystems to optimize client operations.”

Congratulating the company on its expansion, Rajesh Nath, Managing Director, VDMA India lauded AMF as an example of Germany’s resilient, family-owned Mittelstand industrial tradition. He said that as India targets a 25% GDP contribution from manufacturing, collaboration between German technology providers and Indian manufacturers will prove vital.
