Rising demands for productivity, flexibility, and investment security, combined with a dynamic market environment, are creating new challenges for manufacturing companies. What is needed, is not only high-performance machinery, but partners that combine technology, automation, and service into cost-effective, integrated solutions – and support manufacturing companies over the long term.
This is precisely where the Fair Friend Group (FFG) comes in at AMB 2026 in Stuttgart. Under the slogan ‘Stopover’, FFG invites visitors to discover new perspectives for the manufacturing of tomorrow. The Stopover represents an opportunity to evaluate technological possibilities, gain new insights, and strategically plan the next steps for their own manufacturing strategy.
A Global Network as a Strong Foundation
As a global machine tool and turnkey solutions partner, FFG brings together specialized machine tool companies around the world and combines their technology expertise and know-how across multiple disciplines. Customers benefit from continuous technology transfer within the Group as well as international support for delivery, commissioning, and service. This network provides the foundation for high-performance manufacturing concepts and reliable support across national borders. At AMB, FFG will demonstrate through specific applications and several premieres how this approach can make the manufacturing of tomorrow cost-effective, flexible, and future-ready.
Exclusive Preview of the New MAG MMH 630
With the new MAG MMH 630, FFG will provide the first look at a new development for demanding heavy-duty machining applications at AMB. Ahead of the official market launch, the company will present the first details of the new machine.
The MAG MMH 630 was developed for the cost-effective machining of large, complex workpieces and combines high performance, precision, and process stability. This makes it particularly well suited for applications in industries such as energy, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and aerospace.
World Premiere of the Witzig & Frank - Pfiffner InfinitE
The Witzig & Frank - Pfiffner InfinitE, a new generation of CNC rotary transfer machines, will celebrate its world premiere at AMB. The platform is based on a machine concept that has been established for decades, with several thousand machines already operating successfully worldwide.
The key innovation is the use of electromechanical CNC axes, which provide greater flexibility, easy programming, and fast changeovers. At the same time, the proven hydraulic clamping technology is retained, offering high repeatability and process stability.
With this, the InfinitE combines the productivity of rotary transfer machining with the flexibility of modern CNC technology. The result is a cost-effective manufacturing solution for medium- and high-volume production, with high machine availability, short setup times, and optimized life-cycle costs.
Efficient Gear Machining with the HESSAPP VDM 750 Plus
In the field of gear machining, the HESSAPP VDM 750 Plus expands the FFG portfolio. The vertical turning machine combines turning, gear skiving, and additional manufacturing processes and technical options in a single machine. This enables cost-effective complete machining of geared components with high precision and process reliability.
A True Competitive Edge Through the Digital Twin
With Create MyVirtual Machine, FFG demonstrates at AMB how the digital twin can accelerate engineering and commissioning processes. Based on the original control software, the virtual machine realistically replicates the behavior of the physical machine. This allows functions, NC programs, and machining processes to be tested and optimized before the physical machine is even built.
One key advantage is that cycle times can already be determined 1:1 during the design phase. At the same time, interference contours and optimized, shorter tool paths can be visualized in real time. This reduces engineering, commissioning, and ramp-up times while minimizing the risk of errors and collisions.
Even after commissioning, the digital twin can be used for production planning, NC programming, process optimization, and training – creating added value throughout the machine’s entire lifecycle.
Integrated Manufacturing Solutions
In addition to its machine innovations, FFG will showcase smart MAG automation and turnkey concepts designed to optimize complete manufacturing processes. The focus is on increasing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), reducing energy consumption, and using condition-monitoring solutions to improve transparency, availability, and planning reliability.
The trade show presentation will be complemented by industry-specific manufacturing solutions for sectors including aerospace and defence. Visitors will gain insights into integrated production concepts that combine machines, automation, and digital services into end-to-end solutions.
“The manufacturing of tomorrow is not created by new machines alone, but by the interaction of technology, process expertise, and partnership-based collaboration. AMB provides the ideal opportunity to develop new perspectives together and shape the next stage of the manufacturing strategy,” says Dr Sebastian Schöning, CEO, Fair Friend Group.
